Konoba Porto Rosso

We were thrilled to find this restaurant open in October, as many others in Lastovo had already closed for the season. Josip was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. The homemade bread was delicious, and the mix plate of cheese paired perfectly with a nice glass of wine. A wonderful dining experience!

This place has it all. Big tables, pine tree shade, on the beach, big clean toilets… food is really good. It may seem it is a bit pricey but the quality is on the high level. Pasta and risotto is perfect!

Cozy restaurant under the trees. Beautiful view of the sea and the pier. The food was carefully prepared and the grilled octopus was soft and well seasoned. The appetizers were also great.

Food was excellent, everything was so delicious and tasty. We took shrimps, squid and grilled vegetables. We were especially surprised with tomatoes which were very tasty because they are from their garden. Our waitress from Split was the best!

A wonderful restaurant by the beach on the picturesque island of Lastovo. If you are in the vicinity, be sure to stop at least for their amazing homemade dessert - Semifreddo with figs. In addition to dessert, we also liked the salad with beef, chicken stuffed with cheese and ham, and also lamb chops. The service was nice and attentive and we even got a little attention at the end. Great restaurant with great views, staff and atmosphere. I was recommended this by a sailor that I met whilst staying in Croatia who said they spent most of their time here and this did not disappoint. We got the truffle and prawn pasta with grilled veg and salad and shared it for lunch. The pasta was hands down the best pasta I've had in my life. Perfectly cooked and Al dente and the flavour of the truffle saw and grilled prawns was spot on. The Grilled veg was also delicious, really fresh, well seasoned and cooked veg. The salad was really fresh and the olive oil accompanying it was so good. They also gave us some freshly baked bread which was perfect for mopping up the sauces and reminded me of challah. I came back later in the evening for a glass of white Croatian wine which was really tasty, fresh and crisp. The staff are lovely and called us a cab back to our accomodation, there is plenty of shade, comfy seats and really nice loos!

Very nice ambience. The service felt a bit rushed, especially for this type of restaurant. We had tuna tartare, which could have been fresher and more carefully cleaned. The bread served with it was a real letdown. Basic store-bought white bread, and not even toasted. Bread for tartare should always be toasted. However, the black and white risottos for the main course were fantastic.
